The University of San Diego tennis program celebrated a triumphant weekend at the fourth annual San Diego Veterans Tennis Classic, with both men's and women's teams showcasing their talent while honoring our nation's veterans.

The men's team dominated the tournament, sweeping their hidden dual matches with an impressive 15-1 record. Freshman Adrien Berrut stood out, going undefeated in singles play. Meanwhile, the women's team, despite fielding only three players, also found success. Sophomore Kristina Nordikyan and freshman Hannah Read both went undefeated in singles, while also teaming up for a perfect 2-0 record in doubles.

"This event unites our university and the military community through tennis while honoring veterans who have served our nation so proudly," said men's head coach Ryan Keckley. Women's coach Nadia Abdala echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the inspiration drawn from the veterans' service and dedication.
